Director
I lead Randolph School with deep pride, describing the role as both a professional honor and a personal privilege. A University of Michigan graduate, I began my career through a Fordham University fellowship in NYC public schools before finding my way to progressive education. As a father of daughters who attend Randolph, I value the unique window it gives parents into their children's world, and I am committed to strengthening the school's community-centered, child-driven mission.
Community Steward & Office Manager
I first discovered Randolph in 2020 as a parent new to Wappingers Falls, drawn by my family's prior experience with forest and Reggio Emilia-inspired schools. I joined the administrative team in 2022 after volunteering with the Parent Group, and now work to bridge communication between staff, families, and the broader community. Outside of Randolph, I run a handcrafted jewelry business and work as a birth and postpartum doula.
Head of Curriculum & Programs
I bring 14 years of progressive education experience to Randolph, having previously taught at the Boston Children's Museum, New Canaan Country School, and Poughkeepsie Day School. As Curricular Steward, I focus on fostering connections between students, teachers, and the community while weaving equity, diversity, and justice into the curriculum. I am energized by Randolph's nature-based, collaborative approach to learnin
LINKS Team
Environmental Steward
My connection to Randolph began as a student in 1987, and I have been a staff member since 2009. A Williams College biology graduate with an MAT from Bard College, I developed Randolph's hands-on field science and outdoor education curriculum and continue to steward the school's natural spaces. I find special joy in watching my two sons learn at the same school that shaped my own childhood.
Studio Steward
I have been Randolph's atelierista since 2019, bringing a background in art, interior design, museum education, and Reggio-inspired early childhood education. I champion process over product, free material exploration, and meeting each child where they are. As a Randolph parent myself, I cherish watching my own two children grow within the same community I help nurture.
Librarian
I came to Randolph first as a parent in 2018 and, after pursuing a degree in school librarianship, knew it was the only place I wanted to work. My background includes degrees in theatre, adult education at a Brooklyn nonprofit, and a lifelong passion for books and learning. I am grateful every day to share my love of reading with Randolph's students alongside such a thoughtful, forward-thinking faculty.
Music Teacher
I came to music later in life, but had always been a deeply attentive listener, attuned to the sounds of everyday life that others overlook. That sensitivity grew into songcraft and a belief that the musicality of the world around us can spark deep insight and creativity. I bring that passion to Randolph, hoping to awaken the same sense of wonder in my students.
Teacher Emeritus
Early Childhood
Lead Early Childhood Educator
I joined Randolph with 16 years of progressive early childhood teaching experience, including work at the National Child Research Center in D.C. and Sidwell Friends School. I hold a Master's in Education and Human Development with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and trained at a Reggio Emilia-inspired school in Boulder, even traveling to Reggio Emilia, Italy. I found Randolph while searching for a school that truly aligned with my values and have felt at home ever since.
Teacher
I first encountered Randolph as a student teacher through Dutchess Community College and have been part of the community since 2010. I hold a Bachelor's in Education from SUNY New Paltz and am currently pursuing a Master's in Childhood Education and Literacy at SUNY Albany. I am passionate about creativity as a cornerstone of learning and love how Randolph empowers children to explore, inquire, and make meaning from the world around them.

Lead Lower Elementary Educator
I first joined Randolph as a student teacher in 2011 and returned permanently after earning my Early Childhood Education degree from SUNY Cortland in 2014. I became a Downstairs teacher in 2016 and deeply value the flexibility Randolph's approach gives me to follow children's interests and lead through play. Outside the classroom, I am an enthusiastic advocate for animal welfare and veganism, topics I love exploring with my young students.
Teacher
I have been teaching at Randolph since 2017, working with children ages 5–7 after beginning in the Downstairs program. I hold an MA in Childhood Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, with prior experience at The Washington Market School, Old First Nursery School in Brooklyn, and Vassar College's Wimpfheimer Nursery School. A lover of language, nature, and books, I am dedicated to instilling curiosity, confidence, and kindness in my students.
Teacher
I came to education after running a successful before-and-after school program with my mother, serving over 120 families for five years. When the pandemic forced its closure, I channeled my passion into pursuing a career in a formal school setting, discovering Randolph through a job posting and immediately falling in love with its child-led, community-centered approach. I am currently earning my Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education at SUNY Orange.

Lead Upper Elementary Educator
I have been part of the Randolph community for nearly a decade, having served in roles spanning substitute teacher, assistant, afterschool coordinator, and classroom teacher. I am passionate about creating safe, joyful learning environments where children build real skills through authentic experiences. My particular loves include block building, storytelling, and fiber arts like sewing, weaving, and knitting — all of which I bring to life with my students.
Teacher
I hold a Master's in Adolescent Special Education from SUNY New Paltz and an NYS Professional Teaching Certificate in Visual Arts. At Randolph, I guide students through inquiry, imagination, and community. After school, I transform into "Ranger Zero," leading the Randolph Rangers archery program that blends my love of visual arts and outdoor adventure. I am proud to work in a place where creative, ideas-driven learning is the standard.
Teacher
I hold a Bachelor's in Childhood Education and a Master's in Literacy and Students with Disabilities, both from Mount Saint Mary College. After years in public schools and work at an outdoor farm-based education program, I sought a school that honored nature-based, student-centered learning — and found it at Randolph in 2021. I love connecting my students' interests to authentic learning experiences and bring my passions for baking, drawing, gardening, and the outdoors into my teaching.
