Lilac flowers
Diamond eyes
Candlelight dancing in the night
burning the silver light of the moon
black ink on glassy waters
fog locking the moonlit sky
the path misted, beckoning,
waiting for the one’s in their scarlet cloaks
while their immunity to the night lingers
and to the candlelinght in the palm of their hand
a dancing flame
lilac flowers diamond eyes
follow me where I go
I to let go
But memory unfolds
Revealing my past
To help me through the day and guide me to the night
And follow the lilac flowers and diamond eyes
And follow them where I go.

A windless night so silent
Looking out her window she will suffer
For the lost ones loved
And the loved ones lost
A name of shame she once knew but lost
A secret lurks inside a dream
It’s of a gray and endless stream
A land of dank and dreary hearts
Where memories are feared but known
Where lives reappear and disappear
My head turns to the edge of the woods
Where the shadows in the forest crawl
planning their escape from the shadow prison
Into the light
Out of the dark
That is their dream
But their dreams are shattered
The dreams of the shadows.
The dancing shadows from the fire
they are forced to dance.
For dancing is what they do
And they would dance in the light
But they will never.
Into the light
Out of the dark
That is their dream
The dream of the shadows
