Parents at Randolph are an integral part of the school community. They share their skills and talents by cooking with children, maintaining the garden and grounds, being "mystery readers," and going on field trips. They are their children's "first teachers" and we believe in partnering with families in order to best support each child's development at Randolph School and beyond.
Parents also run the Parent Group, a cooperatively organized group that sponsors a variety of activities, including fundraising events, social activities, weekly “Something in a Bowl” lunches, workshops and lectures, and projects around the school. All parents or guardians of children at Randolph School are automatically members of the Parent Group and are invited to participate in all the meetings, committees, and events.
As one of its fundraising efforts, the Parent Group sells our Randolph "brand" merchandise, including Randolph Cooks! (a collection of recipes lovingly compiled by the Randolph community) and Klean Kanteen stainless steel water bottles with our own Randolph school sun logo.
